PRP Skin Rejuvenation
Your own platelets, put to work.
Platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood, concentrated and reintroduced to stimulate collagen production and improve volume, texture, and tone.
- Treatment time
- 15–20 minutes for injections; approximately 30 minutes when combined with microneedling
- Downtime
- Normal activity can resume immediately; mild redness, swelling, or bruising may last about a day
- Results
- Injection results become noticeable after a few weeks and continue improving for a year or more; microneedling adds immediate radiance
Platelet-rich plasma
Your body’s own regenerative potential is already within you.
What it treats
- Cheek volume
- Under-eye hollows and dark circles
- Overall skin texture and firmness
How it works
A small blood draw is processed in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma, which is rich in growth factors, proteins, electrolytes, hormones, and nutrients. PRP is used in two ways: injected beneath wrinkles and hollows to add volume and prompt collagen remodeling, or applied topically in combination with microneedling so the growth factors can penetrate the freshly-created micro-channels. Either way, the goal is to trigger the skin’s own regenerative processes.
Who may be suitable
Patients seeking volume and skin-quality improvement from a regenerative, non-synthetic approach.
Benefits
- Uses your own blood, minimizing allergic reaction risk

Frequently asked questions
PRP is derived entirely from your own blood, so it carries virtually no risk of allergic reaction the way a foreign substance can. Some patients find results continue to improve over time rather than fading on a fixed schedule, though individual response varies.
