Skin Rejuvenation

Lumecca IPL

Intense pulsed light for tone and pigment.

An intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that targets visible signs of photoaging — sun spots, redness, and uneven pigment — by encouraging the skin to replace damaged tissue with healthier cells.

Treatment time
20–30 minutes
Downtime
None for most patients; a mild sunburn-like appearance can last a few hours, with sun exposure avoided afterward
Sessions
Usually five sessions, spaced about four weeks apart

Tight and bright

Sun spots and redness, lifted with light.

Lumecca IPL targets the brown spots and redness that sun exposure leaves behind, on the face and on the body, and pairs with Moxi resurfacing when texture needs attention too.

What it treats

  • Rosacea and facial flushing
  • Redness on the chest and neck
  • Brown spots and sun damage
  • Enlarged pores
  • Spider veins

How it works

IPL energy is absorbed by pigmented cells and converts to heat, breaking down the targeted pigment or vessel. The skin then replaces the treated tissue with newer, healthier cells.

Who may be suitable

Lighter skin tones without a history of excessive tanning or recent sun exposure tend to respond best; confirmed in consultation.

Benefits

  • Return to normal activity, including makeup, immediately after treatment
  • Addresses several signs of sun damage in one modality
